FINDING THE GOOD IN ALL.

THE TRUE MEANING BEHIND

LOST muse goods

LOST MUSE BEGAN ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO, (WHEN I MOVED TO THE WEST COAST. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD a DREAM OF OWNING MY OWN SHOP, SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL. I NEVER KNEW WHAT I WANTED TO SELL OR Where EXACTLY I WANTED TO DO it, BUT I KNEW EXACTLY WHO I WANTED TO BE: A CARING, SMART, LOVING, USEFUL, EFFICIENT, AND KIND HUMAN BEING.

My father would always take me to antique shops and thrift stores and even has a good friend that still owns her own vintage shop today. (Now i take him thrifting and spend all of my money while i’m there). my mother has always saved & given me her hand me downs since she is close to my size & age (+ she’s my best friend), she has shown me the little sewing skills i have and how to create anything with nothing. she also loves to thrift and used to take me to thrift stores and together we would repurpose used furniture as fun house projects + decor.

i feel AS LONG AS I AM CARING FOR GOODS, REPURPOSING, AND KNOWING I AM SOLELY making a difference (+ helping others to be inspired) THEN I WILL ALWAYS BE CONTENT WITH MY SURROUNDINGS.

WHICH, IS WHY I STARTED TO RESELL VINTAGE + SECONDHAND GOODS. THERE ARE FAR too many pieces left laying unused THAT DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE.

EVERY DAY WE SPEND THE MOST VALUABLE THING ON THIS EARTH—TIME, something WE WILL NOT GET BACK CREATING WASTE, NATURALLY BY LIVING. IF WE DO NOT TAKE ANY ACTION TO HELP REDUCE THE footprints we have ALREADY left all over THIS EARTH, we are risking MORE OF OUR own time. so when i ask myself how can i help? This is MY ANSWER.

WITH EACH PIECE EFFICIENTLY MADE BY HAND OR WITH NATURAL PRODUCTS BY THE TALENTED HARDWORKING DESIGNERS BEFORE Myself, WE CAN APPRECIATE THE TIME AND EFFORT THEY HAVE already PUT INTO these goods BY REPURPOSING them MORE THAN ONCE.
